Autumn SALE now on

Autumn has arrived, and with it, I am offering my services to copyedit and proofread your manuscript at vastly reduced prices (on a first come, first served basis).

Q - So, what will you (the author) get?

A - You will get my professional expertise in fully editing and proofreading your text (a combined service). You will receive a "working copy" of your document with all edits shown in Track Changes in MS Word. You will also receive a "clean copy" of your document with all changes accepted and incorporated into it. And finally, you will receive a detailed Style Sheet for your (and my) reference should you need it for future projects.

Q - What will it cost?

A - It depends on the length of your manuscript. Check the prices quoted on the graphic, above. These are FIXED prices, so any word count UP TO 50000 words is £160, and anything UP TO 100000 words is £320. Anything over this value, and you'll need to contact me for a bespoke quote (but it will still be a good deal).

Q - How can I pay?

A - The easiest method is via PayPal. That way, both parties are protected. Should you wish to pay in parts, I can arrange for the cost to be divided over a set period. Check my T&Cs for payment details and conditions.

Q - What genres do you work with?

A - As an author, I have written memoirs and crime/fiction novels. I have just completed a humorous travel fictitious memoir and a children's mystery book, but I am open to any project - just tell me what you need.

Q - Why so cheap?

A - I've been an author myself, so I know how hard it is to publish on a budget. Editing books takes time, and I'd rather have work (filling gaps) at a reduced rate than be waiting for the next commission to arrive.

Q - What if I still can't afford these prices?

A - If you check other resources (CIEP, for example), you'll see the "going rate" for these services (anywhere from £800-£1500), so that's the area you'd be looking at normally. My offer is way below that (for the reasons stated above). However, if you are still struggling,

TALK to me.

I'll see if there is a solution that suits us both. Either way, you'll still have to agree to the T&Cs and pay a deposit in advance, etc.

I'll look forward to hearing from any prospective clients in the near future.
